    • NEW hiking maps: In addition to the 4 maps we have provided so far, we have now added 2 for hiking to highlight hiking areas in remote regions. Hiking trails are now visible at higher zoom levels (zoom out)
    • Benches, traffic lights and/or neighborhood recycle bins have been added or updated for the following locations: Reykjavík, Kópavogur, Garðabær, Akureyri
    • Improved lake and river name labeling so each lake name is displayed only once, preventing duplicate labels in OruxMaps
    • Most icons have been designed or updated: Parking, Parking garage, Charging stations, Hotels, Restaurants, Fast foods, Gyms, Schools, Cafés and more

Detailed Map - Has everything!

Focused Map - Designed to be less cluttered and shows less information than the detailed map:

• No height elevation numbers on contour lines
• No house numbers on buildings
• No labels on many other polygons as well
• No labels on power lines, buildings, shops, hospitals, golf courses, cemetery, sport stadiums and car parking etc.
• All secondary POI's are removed with only the most important ones showing

 

F-Road Special - Changes the colors of all the roads for people who want to get better view when driving on bad unpaved roads:

• All paved roads are gray
• The best quality unpaved roads are brown
• F1 class unpaved roads are yellow
• F2 class unpaved roads are orange
• F3 class unpaved roads (worst quality paths) are red

 

Hiking Special - Changes the colors of all walkways and paths for people who want to get better view when hiking:

• All hiking trails are bright yellow and made visible in higher zoom levels
• All paved roads are gray
• The best quality unpaved roads are brown
• F1, F2 and F3 class unpaved roads are lighter colored brown

• With additional data for benches, traffic lights and neighborhood recycle bins in the Greater Reykjavik area and Akureyri.
